Zion Medical Centre prides itself on offering a high quality healthcare environment, and providing both general practice (GP) and more specialised healthcare appointments for all the family. The team at our Newcastle practice includes Dr Sarathy as well as a registered nurse and onsite pathology services, with a pharmacy situated close by. Our team are able to address most of the health concerns our patients commonly experience.
Zion Medical Centre prides itself on creating positive, caring relationships between all the members of our GP team and our family of patients. One way we do this is through providing options when it comes to booking an appointment time slot, always ensuring that you have sufficient time adequately to discuss your family medicine needs and concern. For instance, if you require a full health check up, need urgent medical help or have other concerns, then we recommend longer appointments, while if your condition is less pressing (a minor sore throat, for instance), then a short time slot might be all that you require.

At your first appointment with us, we would ask you to complete a new patient form that will include not only your contact details, but will also enable your GP to have a better understanding of your current and previous health status. You can make appointments at our Newcastle NSW 2300 surgery directly by calling our reception staff on (02) 4015 7400, or you can book online through the HotDoc app. Our GP opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5:30 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (please note that we are not open on public holidays).
